Recent rain has forced the Ohio Department of Transportation to adjust the schedule for a ramp closure connected to the ongoing Ohio 13 resurfacing project in Mansfield.
The South Main Street entrance ramp to northbound State Route 13 had been scheduled to close earlier this week. ODOT now says the closure has been pushed back to Friday, September 25, because of weather.
Once the closure begins, drivers will need to use a detour. Motorists traveling north will be directed south on South Main Street to West Cook Road, then west to U.S. 42 and north on Lexington Avenue before returning to State Route 13.
ODOT currently expects the ramp to reopen on Sunday, September 27, although the schedule could change depending on weather and construction conditions.
The ramp closure is part of a larger resurfacing project along Ohio 13 in the Mansfield area. The overall project is expected to continue into May 2027.
ODOT is reminding drivers to allow extra time for travel, follow posted detour signs and use caution around construction crews and equipment.
