RADNOR WOMAN PLEADED GUILTY TO 14 COUNTS OF CHILD ENDANGERMENT

December 3, 2024 – Rhonda Coomes, a 53-year-old Radnor woman, pleaded guilty today to 14 counts of endangering children, all felonies of the third degree. Each count of endangering children relates to a different victim. The Delaware County Sheriff’s Office opened an investigation into Coomes, who operated an in-home daycare at her residence, after the Sheriff’s Office received anonymous complaints about potential child abuse by Coomes in her home.

Coomes faces a maximum penalty of 42 years in prison (36 months for each count). Sentencing is set for January 27, 2025 at 9:30 am before Delaware County Common Pleas Court Judge James P. Schuck.
