LIVONIA, Mich. – The Wolverine Hoosier Athletic Conference announced its 2025 Men’s Volleyball honors on Wednesday, April 16.
Head Coach Doug Sherer was named the WHAC Champions of Character Coach for the fifth consecutive season. Sherer has exemplified the five core values that the NAIA embraces throughout the season. These values are integrity, respect, responsibility, sportsmanship, and servant-leadership, and Sherer showed each of these yet again as the leader of the men’s volleyball program. Senior outside hitter Daniel Daly learned from his coach, making the WHAC Champions of Character team after he showed tremendous leadership skills on and off the court.
The men’s volleyball team also worked hard in the classroom as Jackson Bush (JR), Xander Devault (SO), Ethan Cline (SO), Austin Kolaczkowski (SO), Cole Custodio (SR), Tyler Monnin (SO), and Daly each made the WHAC Academic team. Sophomores and above with a 3.25 cumulative GPA who have served a full year at their institution are eligible for the honor.
