Heath Bulldogs win Division Three Baseball State Championship

The Heath Bulldogs capped off a magical season with a State Title Sunday with a 3-1 win over Millbury Lake. The Bulldogs finished 28-2 and are now 3-0 in State Finals. They also won in 2007 and 2002.

Wyatt Binckley threw a five hitter for the Bulldogs. Connor Corbin had a sac fly and Tannar Patterson had a 2 out RBI single in the win for Heath.

The Bulldogs got the top seed in Division Three in the Central District. They got a bye, beat Wellington 14-0 in the Sectional Final, defeated Marion Pleasant 2-1 and then shut out West Jefferson 9-0 in the District Final. The Bulldogs beat Cincinnati Country Day 7-2 in Regional Semis, shut out Fairfield Cincinnati Christian 4-0 in Regional Final. Beat Applecreek Waynedale in 8 innings in the State Semis 4-3 before winning the big one Sunday.
