Greville gains USTFCCCA All-Region award

NEW ORLEANS — For the first time in his collegiate career, Kenyon College junior Josh Greville was named to the NCAA Division III All-Great Lakes Region Indoor Track & Field Team, as selected by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA).

The USTFCCCA divides Division III institutions into ten regions, with Kenyon fitting into the Great Lakes Region. The top five individuals in each event, from each region, were awarded All-Region distinction.

Greville earned the honor with his showing in the North Coast Athletic Conference (NCAC) Championship’s Heptathlon. The seven events played out over two days in Oberlin, Ohio, and Greville piled up 4,460 points. That total gave him a second-place finish and also went in the books as a new Kenyon record.

Among all student-athletes in the Great Lakes Region, Greville’s point total from the NCAC meet ranked fifth best.
