Let’s PLAY! The Works: Ohio Center for History, Art & Technology (The Works) invites families, students, and curious minds of all ages to celebrate Worldwide Day of Play on Saturday, September 27 from 9 AM to 4 PM. This special museum-wide event will feature bonus activities, hands-on learning, and screen-free fun designed to get kids moving, thinking, and creating.
From slimy science stations to imagination-fueled challenges, this full day of programming encourages visitors to unplug, explore, and discover the joy of learning through play.
Families can enjoy:
- Bonus activities and demonstrations throughout the museum
- Engaging exhibits in science, art, history, and glass
- Surprising moments of slime-powered excitement
- Interactive play zones for all ages
Admission includes all activities and is free for Works members. “Worldwide Day of Play reminds us how important it is to incorporate movement, creativity, and unstructured play in a child’s development,” said Fred Boll, Executive Director. “Will it be messy? Maybe. Will it be memorable? Absolutely. We’re thrilled to invite families to The Works for a day full of adventure… and maybe a little slime!”
