Reidenbach selected as 2024 Trooper of the Year

Mount Gilead – Ohio State Highway Patrol Trooper Evan M. Reidenbach has been
selected as the 2024 Trooper of the Year at the Mount Gilead Post.


The selection of Trooper Reidenbach, age 27, is in recognition of outstanding service
during 2024 at the Mount Gilead Post. Fellow officers stationed at Mount Gilead, chose
Trooper Reidenbach based on leadership abilities, professional ethics, courteous treatment
of others, enthusiastic work attitude, and cooperation with supervisors, peers, and the
public.


Trooper Reidenbach joined the Highway Patrol in 2017 and has served at the Mount
Gilead Post. He is originally from Holmesville and a graduate of Waynedale High School.
Other Highway Patrol awards received in the past include: Traffic Safety Award in 2023
and his Health and Fitness Award.


Trooper Reidenbach and his wife, Megan, reside in Knox County with their one child.
