This event supported the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration’s (NHTSA) Click It or Ticket Campaign. The Click It or Ticket Campaign is a national campaign that promotes seat belt use and enforces traffic laws.

LCATS won the first annual Licking County Quick Click Challenge with a time of 41.75 seconds. The Licking County Safe Communities Coalition thanks all participating agencies including LCATS, Licking County Transit, Lakewood School District, the Licking County Sheriff’s Office, and the Licking County Health Department. The Licking County Safe Communities Coalition is excited for the second annual Quick Click Challenge next year!

91.8% of Licking County residents complied with seat belt use according to results from the Observational Survey of Seat Belt Use in Ohio, 2023. Licking County Safe Communities Coordinator Bri Perkins reminds everyone “One of the safest choices drivers and passengers can make is to buckle up.”
