Road work related to the Point Improvement Project has shifted to the west side of the railroad bridge. Starting Tuesday, Feb. 25, through mid-July, the work zone will extend from Bowtown Road west of the bridge to Foley St. Eastbound and westbound traffic will be shifted onto narrowed lanes. The westbound US 36 (E. William St.) left turn lane will be closed and left turns onto Public Works Dr. will be prohibited. This week, the traffic signal will be modified, new traffic paint markings applied, and traffic shifted. Intermittent flagging will be required, and motorists should expect delays travelling through the work zone while these changes are implemented.
Work continues at Ohio 521 and US36/Ohio 37. The southbound SR 521 (Kilbourne Rd.) right turn lane is closed to accommodate construction along the west side of the road. Right turns can be made from the through lane. Oakland Nursery access is open from 521, in addition to existing access points on 36/37.
