A Mount Vernon man has been sentenced for the murders of two people in August at the Terraces apartment buidling. 23 year old Cameron Moore, who will turn 24 tomorrow went into the apartment and killed Jessica Wardrop and Robert Caudill. Reportedly Moore was seen pacing around with a baseball bat before entering the apartment and killing the two victims with that bat. Knox County Prosecutor Chip McConville said there is some evidence that Moore knew the victims but as far as the relationship it is still unclear. He said that Moore was homeless and that Moore was found on video pacing outside the apartment.
Moore was sentenced to life without parole.
