Mansfield House Explosion Injures Four, Including Three Firefighters

A house explosion early Wednesday morning on Becky Drive in Mansfield left a man seriously burned and three firefighters injured. Fire crews from multiple departments responded just before 7 a.m. to find the home engulfed in flames. A man with severe burns was found in the front yard, while a woman, uninjured, was also outside. Both were transported to the hospital.

As firefighters battled the blaze, a second explosion occurred, injuring three firefighters who were also hospitalized. According to officials, the man believed there was a propane tank leak and attempted to remove it before the explosion. The State Fire Marshal is investigating the cause of the blast.
