Knox County property owners should be watching their mailboxes as second-half 2026 real estate and manufactured home tax bills are now being delivered.
The Knox County Treasurer’s Office announced Wednesday that tax bills have been mailed, with payments due Wednesday, Aug. 26.
Property owners are encouraged to review their statements upon arrival and submit payments by the deadline to avoid late penalties and interest.
Payments may be made in person at the Knox County Treasurer’s Office, by mail or online through the county’s payment portal.
County officials recommend allowing additional time for mailed payments to ensure they arrive before the due date.
Residents who have questions about their tax bill or believe they did not receive one are encouraged to contact the Treasurer’s Office as soon as possible.
More information, including online payment options, is available through the Knox County Treasurer’s Office.
