The Works: Ohio Center for History, Art & Technology (The Works) is pleased to welcome families and visitors to its annual Holiday Homecoming celebration on Friday, November 28, with activities from 11 AM to 3 PM. Holiday Homecoming is a festive day filled with hands-on holiday fun, creative activities, and seasonal surprises throughout the museum.

Guests of all ages can celebrate the season with a full lineup of experiences, including:

  • Ornament making & holiday crafts
  • Hands-on activity stations
  • Snow Science
  • Meet Santa & Snap a Photo
  • Hot Cocoa Bar
  • Live Planetarium Show
  • Gear Shop Holiday Sale – 35% off handblown glass for members, 25% off for the public
  • Plus, more!

Guests are encouraged to visit The Works’ Gear Shop during the event to take advantage of the annual holiday sale—perfect for finding unique, locally made gifts, including handblown glass from the Hot Glass Studio.

On the day of the event, adults and kids 6 and up can register to make a fused-glass project ($25 per project). Use pieces of colorful glass to create your own art piece! The Works Glass Artists will then heat it in a super-heated kiln to be picked up at a later date.
