A DCSO School Resource Officer (SRO) from one of our local school districts received a complaint from a concerned parent. The parent was upset that their student was able to obtain a vaping device. Our SRO discussed the matter with a detective who works on the multi-agency Delaware County Drug Task Force. After investigation, two residential and one vehicle search warrants were executed, resulting in the seizure of 180 lbs. of raw marijuana, 5,644 THC pens, 14 grams of LSD tablets, plus mushrooms, heroin, four guns, and over $2000 in cash.
The Drug Task Force consists of dedicated detectives, analysts, investigative assistants, and staff from multiple agencies at the local, state, and federal levels. We are proud of their collaborative work. The community is encouraged to continue to share information with us through our drug and crime tip lines.
