Another Quarter of Savings for Electric Aggregation Program

Second-quarter reporting is complete for the City of Delaware’s electric aggregation program and continued savings are being seen for participants in the program. Since the program began being offered to City residents midway through 2023:

  • The average AEP Ohio customer has saved more than 35% and over $380 on electric generation supply, compared to AEP’s default rate.
  • The average Ohio Edison customer has saved more than 33% and about $380 compared to Edison’s default rate.
  • Combined, this has resulted in more than $3.7M staying in the community compared to going to AEP or Ohio Edison.
