The castle property is a hotel, event venue and restaurant. This is an outdoor walking event. The event will end at 10PM to respect the quite time of our hotel guests. It is handicap accessible but is on hilly paved terrain. This event in years past has been very busy, please be patient when arriving and parking. Our parking staff will do their best to get you parked in a timely fashion. The castle is made up of 11 hotel suites, there is a public observation tower and lobby with small gift area.

Cookies with Santa!

Families won’t have to travel to the North Pole to have quality time with the Santa Claus this year. Indian Mound Mall is excited to announce Cookies with Claus as part of the property’s celebration of the winter season. Children and their families are invited by Santa to experience the magic of the holidays on Thurs. Dec.19th from 6:00pm-7:00pm.

Children will enjoy eating cookies while listening to Santa read “The Polar Express”!  Kids are encouraged to wear their pajamas and make a special craft or letter for Santa.

“During the holidays, it is important for families to spend time together and have the opportunity to truly experience the joy of the season,” said Linnea Gold, the Marketing Director. “We are thrilled to transform the property into a space for children to say hello to Santa and enjoy a unique twist on the traditional Santa Claus visit.”

Cookies with Santa will be held Thurs., Dec. 19th behind the Santa set. Children also will be able to share their wish list with Santa and Mrs. Claus and capture a holiday photo. This is just one example of Indian Mound Mall’s efforts to offer families worthwhile opportunities to create long-lasting holiday memories together.

An infamous leg lamp, outrageous pink bunny pajamas, a maniacal department store Santa, and a triple-dog-dare to lick a freezing flagpole are just a few of the distractions that stand between Ralphie and his Christmas wish.

Enjoy the festive lights at Columbus Commons from November 22 through January 5, EVERY DAY from dusk until to 11 pm. Stop by after a Downtown dinner to see more than 400,000 LED lights dazzle in the park, thanks to our wonderful partnership with the AEP Foundation.
