February 10, 2025 – On Friday February 7, following a 4-day trial, a Delaware County jury found 41-year-old Delaware resident, Steven M. Vicario guilty of two counts of Rape (both felonies of the first degree), two counts of Sexual Battery (both felonies of the third degree), and one count of Tampering with Evidence (a felony of the third degree).
Delaware City Police Department began an investigation in November of 2023 after receiving a report.
A sentencing hearing before Judge James P. Schuck is set for Wednesday February 12, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. Vicario faces a maximum penalty of 25 years in prison.
