Illegal Gaming Machines Seized By Ohio Casino Control Commission

NEWARK, OHIO – The Ohio Casino Control Commission(OCCC) served search warrants on two
locations in Licking County on April 24th, 2024 as part of an ongoing investigation into illegal
gambling. OCCC Gaming Agents launched an investigation after receiving complaints about a
business operating illegal slot machines in violation of Ohio law.

The Newark Division of Police and the Licking County Sheriff’s Office assisted the OCCC in serving
warrants at 369 E. Main St(Chances R) and a residence in Marne, OH. Gaming equipment, cash,
documents and other items were seized.
