Hall will remain Newark Mayor, Perry to lead Mansfield

 Jeff Hall became the first four-term mayor in Newark history and Democrat Bill Cost edged Republican Spencer Barker for the final council at-large spot in Tuesday’s general election.

The 67 year old Republican Hall enjoyed an overwhelming victory over independent write-in candidate Daniel Crawford, winning 93% of the vote, according to final, unofficial results from the Licking County Board of Elections.

Jodie Perry will be the new mayor of Mansfield after earning a comfortable win in Tuesday’s general election over Democrat Sherry Vaught.

Perry received 7,283 votes to 3,795 for Vaught in final, unofficial results from the Richland County Board of Elections.
