Mount Vernon, OH – The Career Technical Planning District (CTPD) Report Cards for
the 2024-2025 school year were released by the Ohio Department of Education and Workforce
(ODEW) recently. The CTPD results are made up of data from the Knox County Career Center
High School and other career tech programs in the six associate schools: Centerburg, Clear
Fork, Danville, East Knox, Fredericktown, and Mount Vernon. The data comes from the students
enrolled in half-day career tech programming at KCCC and also in the associate schools where
career tech classes are offered by class period in areas such as Ag, Family Consumer Science,
Project Lead the Way, etc.
Knox County Career Center (KCCC) CTPD received a 5-star rating, which means KCCC
significantly exceeds the state standards. 100% (9 of 9) of the Federal Indicators were met. This
is the third year in a row that the KCCC CTPD has received a 5 out of 5-star rating.

“We are excited to receive a 5 star rating. We always strive for excellence as we work to
prepare students for success. Students at KCCC leave well prepared with industry credentials,
work experience, and professional skills. We continue to partner with our associate schools to assist them in providing career technical education to as many students as we can in Knox
County. I’m very proud of the career tech education options that we offer in Knox County and all
of the work of our teachers and staff,” said Kathy Greenich, KCCC Superintendent.
