This summer, Nellie Six Productions is hosting their annual Front Porch Concert Series, the first on being this Friday, June 21. Local artist will be lining East High St. from 6-9 pm, the street will closed to traffic so the public can safely enjoy the event. Along with these amazing artist, there will be local vendors and delicious food trucks for everyone to enjoy. Throughout the summer, this event will have over 104 different artist performing, as well as a variety of food trucks. On Friday, the porches will categorize artist by songwriters, community performers, and featured performers. Featured artist include, The Shuman Band, Blue Diggity, Les & Dean, Boone Girls, and many more exciting artist to come and check out. Food Trucks will be local favorites such as Thai on the Go, Tabouli Cafe, Impastas, and Buddy Local Eats.
For those of a more crafty persuasion, there will be an opportunity to show off your creativity. Grab some cardboard and let your imagination run wild, because they will also be hosting Think Outside the Box. This will allow creators to show off their coolest cardboard creations while enjoying the music. Make your creation wearable and make it unique.
The Front Porch Concert Series pays all artist, technicians, and other event workers through donations. Generous donations have been gifted to the program by their wonderful sponsors like The Woodward Opera House, WMVO, and many others.
