iLuminate has been a household name since we were called “The BEST NEW ACT in America!” during our run on America’s Got Talent in 2011. Maybe you saw us on TV or heard about us through one of our international appearances or saw our Live show in the heart of New York City. No matter how you found us, we’re just glad you did!

iLuminate is a company based on the fusion of technology and dance. This distinct intermix will reawaken your senses and imagination! We are a diverse team of experts and together we create a visual experience unlike anything you’ve ever seen.

Audiences will see dancers in electrified glow-in-the-dark suits performing dynamic routines and illusions on a darkened stage. It’s a show that’s completely unique to our brand and incomparable to any other dance performance.

iLuminate is the brainchild of Miral Kotb, a woman whose true passions in life are dance and software engineering, which is why you’ll see her both manning the keyboard and dancing on stage in our archive of video performances (which you absolutely should check out).

In 2009, Miral combined her two passions to create our patented iLuminate technology, the tool that enables performers, choreographers, engineers, technicians, stylists and artistic directors to produce explosive performances with customized wireless lighting programs. The results are extraordinary lighting effects choreographed with phenomenal dance moves that take viewers on an exhilarating ride.

You may have seen iLuminate technology in shows around the world — from Cairo to Malaysia and the United States to Hong Kong, we are racking up our mileage points. Check out our Blog to get our exclusive travel stories! Not a world traveler? Watch us from home!

We’ve been on TV shows like Dancing with the Stars, the X-Factor, Good Morning America, The Wendy Williams Show and The Ellen DeGeneres Show. As well as The American Music Awards, MTV’s Video Music Awards, BET Awards, The Nickelodeon Awards, Billboard, and Latin Billboard Awards.

SOLAR ECLIPSE 2024 – Party at the Park @ Ariel-Foundation Park
Apr 8 @ 12:00 pm – 1:00 pm

SPI Eclipse Party

On Monday, April 8, 2024, it is estimated between 3:08-3:19 pm people within a 115-mile-wide band across the state of Ohio will experience a total solar eclipse.

  • A solar eclipse: when the moon casts its shadow on the Earth as it passes between the Earth and the Sun.
  • A total solar eclipse: when the moon appears to totally obscure the Sun. (According to NASA, the sky will darken as if it were dawn or dusk.)

A total solar eclipse is a rare and spectacular event. On average, one happens somewhere on the Earth only once every 1.5 years. Only 21 total solar eclipses have crossed the lower 48 states in the entire existence of the United States.

The last total solar eclipse visible in Ohio was in 1806. The next total solar eclipse in Ohio will be in 2099. To learn more about visit eclipse.ohio.gov.

Celebrate Local Creativity and Craftsmanship at the 2024 Knox County Quilt Show

Mt Vernon, OH – The Knox County’s Quilt Guild Quilt Show is coming back, and promises to once again showcase the artistry and skill of local quilters. Hosted by the Knox County Quilt Guild, A QUILTER’S CELEBRATION promises to be a feast for the eyes, featuring a stunning display of over 200 locally crafted quilts, and more!

The Knox County Quilt Show is scheduled to take place on Friday, April 12th from 10am-6pm and Saturday April 13th, from 10am-5pm at Faith Baptist Church at 8764 Martinsburg Road, Mt. Vernon, Ohio. Admission is only $5, and will include the opportunity to register for extraordinary door prizes!  This year’s show will feature a wide array of quilts, ranging from traditional designs to modern creations. Quilters from around Mount Vernon and beyond will have the opportunity to exhibit their work and share their passion for quilting with the community.

“We are excited to bring the Knox County Quilt Guild Quilt Show, A QUILTER’S CELEBRATION, back for another year,” said Robin Jordan, President of the Quilt Guild. “This event is a celebration of creativity, craftsmanship, and community. It’s a wonderful opportunity for quilters to showcase their talent and for visitors to be inspired by their work.”

In addition to the quilt displays, the Knox County Quilt Show will offer FREE door prizes, a craft table of discount priced quilt related items donated by Quilt Guild members as well as several vendor tables.  The vendors tables will include speciality hand dyed fabrics, scissor sharpening (while you wait), craft and fabric tables, and much much more!  Some of the displayed quilts will even be offered for sale!

Both novice and experienced quilters and attendees may learn new techniques, get tips from our local experts, and find inspiration for their own quilting projects.

The Knox County Quilt Show is made possible thanks to the support of vendors, sponsors, Quilt Guild members, volunteers, and our quilting community. Their contributions help make this event a success and promote the art of quilting in Knox County and beyond.

Don’t miss this opportunity to celebrate the artistry and craftsmanship of local quilters at the 2024 Knox County Quilt Show. Whether you’re a novice or seasoned quilter or simply appreciate the beauty of handmade quilts, there’s something for everyone to enjoy at this year’s show.
