Food for the Hungry: A Legacy of Service in Knox County
Since 1982, Food for the Hungry (FFTH) has been a cornerstone in Knox County, Ohio, combating hunger through community-driven efforts. What started as a radio food and financial drive on WMVO, founded by Charlie and Carol Kilkenny, has grown into a multifaceted initiative. The campaign spans multiple events, leading up to a grand one-day simulcast held annually on the second Friday of December. During this time, food and funds are collected and distributed to local agencies like Interchurch Social Services and the Salvation Army, helping ensure that our neighbors in need are supported.

FFTH offers numerous ways for you to get involved, from attending events and donating non-perishable food items to contributing monetarily or volunteering your time. With deep-rooted partnerships, Join us in making a difference for the Knox County community this December.
