At 1:49 PM Deputies were dispatched to 200 block of Parana Dr Newark on a stabbing. Upon arrival they found Nick Neagos, age 75, on the front porch of the residence suffering from multiple stab wounds. At the same time, his daughter April Neagos, age 47 of Newark, was found walking on Parana Dr with obvious stab wounds.
Nick Neagos was pronounced dead at the scene. April Neagos has been transported to a Columbus area hospital.
The preliminary investigation indicates that April stabbed her father multiple times, and then stabbed herself. Her condition is unknown at this time.
The incident is still under investigation. The Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation is responding to process the crime scene. Detectives will be formulating Murder charges against April Neagos.
