With summer in full swing, the Summer Front Porch Concert Series is as well. The July event is taking place this Friday, July 19th. Junes series was a huge success and July will not be short of that. A great line up is waiting for this Friday from song writers like Court ‘n’ Jester to performers from the community like Rebecca Davis. They will have artist performing on porches up and down High Street. Music won’t be the only entertainment at the concert series, but artist have an opportunity to shine. Like last month with the cardboard creations, creatives and artist can show off their abilities by creating live statues. Artist can show off their interpretation of a live statue by making themselves the art. There will also be food trucks, so come hungry and come ready for a night full of music, art, and community.
This event will kick off 6pm and run till 9pm. They will shut down East High Street to traffic so the community can safely enjoy the event. The artist, technicians, and others who volunteer their time are all compensated through donations given by generous sponsors.
