Pataskala woman charged with Child Endangerment

Pataskala, OH — Katelynn Strohacker, 23, a former employee at Over The Rainbow Children’s Center, has been charged with third-degree felony child endangerment following a disturbing incident involving a 1-year-old child.

On July 21, 2025, investigators allege that Strohacker used painter’s tape to bind the child’s eyes, hands, and feet, then placed the child face-down under a blanket, leaving them unattended for approximately an hour. Authorities say Strohacker admitted to engaging in similar conduct on more than one occasion.

Strohacker was arrested and later released on a $50,000 bond. As part of her release conditions, she is prohibited from having unsupervised contact with minors or the victim’s family. A court appearance is scheduled for next week.

The daycare center terminated both Strohacker and her direct supervisor immediately upon learning of the allegations and is reportedly cooperating fully with law enforcement.
