Several Licking County school districts are showing improvement or maintaining strong performances in the latest Ohio School Report Cards.
The Ohio Department of Education and Workforce recently released report cards for the 2025-26 school year, evaluating districts across six areas: achievement, progress, gap closing, graduation, early literacy, and readiness for college, career, workforce and military service.
Granville Exempted Village Schools again received a five-star overall rating, matching its rating from the previous year. The district has an enrollment of approximately 2,442 students.
Licking Heights received a four-and-a-half-star overall rating, an improvement over the previous year’s result.
The report cards provide districts, families and communities with a statewide comparison of academic performance while also showing areas where individual schools may need additional work.
The results come as Licking County continues to experience rapid population growth and increasing enrollment pressures in several communities.
State officials emphasize that the report card is made up of multiple measures rather than a single test score, with the six components intended to provide a broader picture of how districts are performing.
Families can search individual schools and districts through the Ohio Department of Education and Workforce’s online report-card database.
