Residents experiencing dental pain or a dental emergency will have a new walk-in option beginning this month.
Knox County Dental has announced a new Walk-In Emergency Dental Clinic, with the first clinic scheduled for Thursday, September 10.
The one-day clinic will be offered on the second Thursday of each month throughout 2026. Check-in hours will be from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The clinic is intended specifically for patients experiencing emergency dental issues, including toothaches or other dental pain.
Patients will be seen on a first-come, first-served basis. A dentist will examine each patient’s concern, although same-day treatment is not guaranteed.
The clinic will be held at Knox County Dental, 706 South Market Street in Danville.
Knox County Dental’s regular business hours are 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The office closes for lunch from noon to 12:30 p.m.
The new walk-in clinic provides an additional option for Knox County residents who experience an urgent dental concern and need to have the issue evaluated.
