Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. 16th Annual Celebration Breakfast

Dr. Leslie Harris will be the keynote speaker at this annual event, focusing on the theme “Sisters in the Struggle: Pioneers in the Civil Rights Struggle.”The breakfast program will also include remarks from local government officials and the college presidents, awards for community service and recognition of local middle and high school essay contest winners. Monthly Birding Group
This new opportunity starts this Saturday.  Meet at the BFEC Resource Center at 11:00 a.m. and look for Judith Crouse.  If you have any questions, you can contact Judith at  judithcrouse59@gmail.com.  Bring your own binoculars and field guide.  The BFEC has a few available for check-out if you do not have your own.
Anyone interested in birding can meet with group on the 4th Saturday of each month.  Outings will take place at different locations throughout the county.
