High School Boys Basketball Tournament seedings and match ups set

Sunday the first High School boys basketball tournament draw took place with the RPI in place that seeds teams before they place themselves on the bracket.

DIVISION ONE:

In the Central District 2: At the top is one seed Olentangy Orange and they will face 46 seed Whetstone. The Pioneers are on a collision course to face Reynoldsburg in a District Final. Reynoldsburg is the 8 seed.

In Central District 1: The highest seed is 5 seed Hilliard Bradley, they open up with 43 seed Briggs. They could play 7 seed Licking Heights in a District Semifinal as the two highest seeds in this bracket.

In Central District 3: Delaware Hayes is the overall 2 seed. They’ll host 48 seed Logan on February 27th. Gahanna Lincoln is the highest seed outside Hayes in this bracket at number 10. They could face 11 seed Big Walnut in a District Semifinal.

In Central District 4: New Albany is the three seed, they will open with 37 seed Thomas Worthington and the winner plays 31 seed Mount Vernon March 1st. Newark is the four seed and will open up at home vs 39 seed Chillicothe.

DIVISION TWO:

Bishop Hartley is the one seed and could face 2 seed River Valley in a District Final. Granville is 8 seed and will open up with 15 seed Eastmoor Academy.

In Northwest three District Shelby is the one seed and will host Vermilion. They could meet 5 seed Mansfield Senior in a District Semi. Lexington is the two seed and open up with the winner of Galion and Clear Fork in a Sectional Final March 1st. They could meet the Whippets in a District Final.

DIVISION THREE:

Columbus Academy is the top seed and would play 23 seed East Knox in a Sectional Final if they beat 21 seed West Jefferson. Northridge is the 4 seed and will host 19 seed Grandview Heights February 27th and the winner plays 17 seed Utica March first.

Centerburg is the 16 seed and got a bye and will play the winner of 11 seed Cardington Lincoln and 15 seed Horizon Science on March 1st. Mount Gilead is 20 seed and will play 2 seed North Union February 27th. Fredericktown the 8 seed will play at 6 seed Fairbanks on February 27th. The winner will play the winner of 7 seed Heath and 11 seed Marion Pleasant.

DIVISION FOUR:

Danville is the 18 seed and will play at top seed Northside Christian March 2nd at 1pm.
