Ewers Named WHAC Defender of the Week

MOUNT VERNON, Ohio.  Landon Ewers of the (RV) Mount Vernon Nazarene University men’s volleyball team was named as the Wolverine Hoosier Athletic Conference Defender of the Week on Monday, February 20.

Ewers was a force up front for the Cougars as he accumulated five solo blocks and 18 block assists on the week through four games. Ewers also had 45 kills for the Cougars. Ewers is in the midst of a fantastic season as he leads the WHAC in hitting percentage (.335) and blocks per set (1.14).

Ewers and MVNU are back in action tomorrow at No.9 Lourdes University at 7:00pm.
