JACKSON, Mich. – Paige Brenner of the No. 25 Mount Vernon Nazarene University women’s volleyball team (11-0) took home the honor of Crossroads League Setter of the Week on Tuesday, September 6.
The senior from Copley, Ohio helped lead the team to a 5-0 week for the Lady Cougars. Over the five matches Brenner had 162 assists, 32 digs, and 17 kills, along with a .350 hitting percentage. To break it down per set she averaged 10.1 assists, 2.0 digs, and 1.1 kills.
This is the first time this season Brenner has been named the Crossroads League Setter of the Week.
Brenner and MVNU are set to take on No.11 Indiana Wesleyan University on the road at 7:00pm on Wednesday, September 7.
