Another record falls in Loudonville’s Girls Basketball rout

Another day, another record falls for Loudonville Senior Corri Vermilya as the Loudonville Girls Basketball team remained unbeaten. The Lady Redbirds improved to 5-0 with an 88-8 win over Medina Buckeye Monday Night. Corri Vermilya posted an insane stat line as she collected a quadruple double in the win. Vermilya posted 26 points, 19 rebounds, 10 assists and 10 steals.

Corri’s quadruple-double is the first of Loudonville Head Coach Tyler Bate’s coaching career. She did it in 3 quarters, with a running clock in the third quarter.

We tied the school record for FT% in a game – with 10/10.

Mya Vermilya – 19 points, 4 assists, 3 steals

Jena Guilliams – 17 points (5 3-pointers), 4 assists, 4 steals

Addison Wolford – 8 points, 4 rebounds, 4 steals

Sophia Spangler – 8 points, 4 steals

Corri broke the career rebound record Monday Night. She now has 962 career rebounds. The previous rebounding record was 951 by Emily Seboe.

Due to a water line break at Loudonville High School, this game was played at Ashland University.

“We are thankful for all of the staff at Ashland University, as well as our Loudonville gameday operations crew – for making the change of venue possible for this game. Our girls enjoyed playing on the big floor.”

“Corri continues to amaze all of us. A 3-quarter triple-double with no turnovers is not something that you ever expect to see in a high school game, but she continues to do the unthinkable.”

We play Central Christian Saturday at Loudonville as part of our school’s boy-girl triple-header and Hall of Fame ceremony.
