Stay up-to-date with Licking County’s NEW automatic notification system

Licking County Emergency Management Agency (EMA) has implemented a new mass notification system called, “READY Licking County.” READY Licking County is a state-of-the-art mass notification and warning system used to warn residents about emergencies and weather events in jurisdictions throughout Licking County, Ohio.Licking County’s EMA Director, Sean Grady says, “Transitioning to this system allows us to reach more people with automatic warnings and provides an easier path for the residents of the county to sign up and customize what they want to hear about.”You can opt-in to this system by subscribing using the button below. You will enter your contact information and subscribe to receive notifications about locations you care about in the “My Locations” section. Email is not needed for sign-up, but it does make it easier if you need to reset your password. There is an option to select a ‘quiet time’ when all notifications will be turned off, except for tornado warnings, which will override this setting. In the event of a potential safety hazard or concern, you will receive a message on the voice or text communication method you chose upon registering. These alerts are able to be sent to all mobile devices and landlines.

A warning means weather conditions pose a threat to life or property. People in the path of the storm need to take immediate protective action.
