LCHD offering Flu Vaccines

The Licking County Health Department (LCHD) is offering flu vaccines to children and adults in Licking County. Children age six months and older and all adults should receive a yearly flu vaccination.

Get a flu vaccination by walking-in to LCHD’s Clinic, located at 675 Price Road in Newark. Walk in clinics will be on Tuesdays and Thursday from 8:00AM-NOON and from 2:00PM-4:00PM. No appointment required.

Individuals requesting a flu vaccination must bring insurance information, if applicable. Vaccines are among the most successful and cost-effective public health tools available for preventing disease and death. They not only help protect vaccinated individuals, but also help protect entire communities by preventing and reducing the spread of infectious diseases.
