HILLIARD, Ohio — A fire at the Hilliard Food Pantry in the Life Community Church is an ongoing investigation by the Division of State Fire Marshal’s Fire and Explosion Investigation Bureau. The cause of the fire is currently undetermined as the investigation proceeds.
On Sunday, July 9, 2023, the Norwich Township Fire Department was dispatched to a fire at 4400 Cemetery Road in Hilliard (Franklin County), with mutual aid supplied by Columbus City Fire Department. There were no injuries.
The food pantry is asking for donations from the community to replenish what was lost. The Norwich Township Fire Department is collecting food and personal care donations at each of its three fire stations.
