NEWARK, OHIO – Newark Division of Police responded to a report of a shooting Saturday night around 10:30pm in the 900 block of King Rd. According to witnesses, two men were engaged in a fight just prior to a single gunshot being heard. Jordan Frazier (24), from Etna was shot once in the abdomen and flown to a Columbus area hospital in stable condition. Detectives are continuing to investigate the shooting and are looking to speak with a person of interest in the case. We are not releasing that person’s name at this time.
