Bunnies for Babes March 4-23, 2024 Our libraries are collecting NEW stuffed animals to be given to children throughout Knox County for Easter. Drop off NEW stuffed animals at the Public Library of Mount Vernon and Knox County, Fredericktown Community Library, Gambier Community Library and the Danville Public Library. If you or someone you know is in need, please contact Lisa at 740-392-2665. Thank you for your help in making a child feel special.

For the winter months (Jan-March), Yoga with Julie will be offered on Wednesday mornings, 8:30-9:30AM, on a drop-in basis.
Class will be held in our Education Center (the Treehouse is a little chilly these days.)
Cost is $10/session (cash/check/card accepted) and the money supports Ohio Bird Sanctuary. This class is for adults and completely appropriate for beginners. Please bring your own mat.

In partnership with Arms of an Angel Foundation, The Woodward Opera House and The Knox Community Jazz Orchestra will be bringing you an amazing night of music. This benefit concert will raise money for the Mount Vernon Police Department as they are purchasing a new K9 Officer. With us for the evening will be K9 Officer Tuk, and K9 Officer Nova along with their handlers. Officers from the MVPD will share stories throughout the event about the K9s and the work they are doing in our community. We will hear from Chief Morgan and Captain Burns as well as Mr Dave Culbertson whose family started the Arms of an Angel Foundation. All proceeds from this event and donations collected that evening will go directly to the foundation to assist with this fundraiser. We encourage you to attend and share this evening!
