Bunnies for Babes March 4-23, 2024 Our libraries are collecting NEW stuffed animals to be given to children throughout Knox County for Easter. Drop off NEW stuffed animals at the Public Library of Mount Vernon and Knox County, Fredericktown Community Library, Gambier Community Library and the Danville Public Library. If you or someone you know is in need, please contact Lisa at 740-392-2665. Thank you for your help in making a child feel special.

Glass Blowing: Glass Shamrocks @ Mansfield Art Center

You must sign up and pay for this class to reserve your space. We will instruct students in the order they come to us during your reserved time. We can accommodate up to 3 students per session.

Members $49.50 | Non-Members $55

Come in to create your very own lucky four leaf clover! You will be able to choose one color to include inside or on the outside of your glass paperweight. Great for beginners or for those looking to learn a new glass sculpting skill. Maple Syrup Festival @ Malabar Farm State Park

Experience a sugar camp with live historical demonstrations, horse drawn wagon rides, food, and maple products for sale. A great way to get rid of cabin fever and spend some time outdoors! Free Event, donations to the horse group appreciated.

Bring the kids to the Richland Carrousel Park for photos with the Easter Bunny! March 2, 3, 9, 10, 16, 17, 23, and 24 from 1pm-4pm.  $5 gets you 1 printed photo, and you can also use your camera.

Yoga at the Ohio Bird Sanctuary @ Ohio Bird Sanctuary

For the winter months (Jan-March), Yoga with Julie will be offered on Wednesday mornings, 8:30-9:30AM, on a drop-in basis.
Class will be held in our Education Center (the Treehouse is a little chilly these days.)
Cost is $10/session (cash/check/card accepted) and the money supports Ohio Bird Sanctuary. This class is for adults and completely appropriate for beginners. Please bring your own mat.

Experience the 3rd annual Seasons on the Farm marketplace, offering an enjoyable and informative experience on the farm. Our yearly events continue to thrive as our vendors expand and product diversity remains a key attraction for our guests. We have a variety of handcrafted goods, antiques, vintage and modern day decor featuring all seasons! This is a FREE event and no ticket is required for admission. Tickets obtained from this site will go into a drawing for prizes our sponsors have donated. We also are giving away free tickets to the Vintage Market Days of Central Ohio. Sign up exclusively to earn a chance to win!

These locations will allow for a stop and shop destination on our Licking County shopping trail set for April 26 and 27. Also visit the Central Ohio Market Days at the Hartford fairgrounds, minutes from our location.
With all the fun that goes into decorating throughout the seasons we feature a “seasonal” shopping experience. This event will include decorative items, apparel, live plants/hanging baskets, baked goods, candles, soaps, wreaths and so much more! With (5) venues, shoppers will have a variety of choices to fill the car with lots of goodies!
Come to learn about agriculture at our farm and take home a complimentary “ag bag” filled with farm facts, recipes and kids activities. We will also feature a petting zoo.
