Rummage and Bake Sale @ Gay Street United Methodist Church

The Gay Street UMC United Methodist Women in Faith will be holding a Rummage and Bake Sale in the church Fellowship Hall on:

Barbie: Special Exhibit at the Doll Museum

Barbie, the iconic Mattel doll whose popularity has spanned more than 60 years, is the center of attention at the Doll Museum. The exhibition will illustrate Barbie’s many careers (she had more than 200!), and her myriad fashion outfits, adventures and accessories (kitchen, rock band, camping tent, airplane, ’57 Chevy, etc.).

The Doll Museum is open Wed-Fri 1-4pm, and Saturdays 10-2pm. Members are free. Admission is $3 per person.

Barbie™ You can Be Anything™: The Experience

Barbie™ joins COSI to encourage kids to play out their dreams by exploring activities that inspire limitless potential. From career dolls to real-world role models, Barbie has been inspiring children since 1959. This exhibit is based on character traits of various Barbie dolls such as adventurer, nurturer, leader, creator and problem solver, and allows families to try on different Barbie careers, like pilot or wildlife photographer, while learning about the more than 200 careers Barbie has had over the years.

BIGFOOT BASECAMP

ENTRY PASSES: WEEKEND Special event passes will be on sale at the gate for only $30/car ($45 value). A DAILY special event pass for $15/car will be available at the gate. NO online advance sales. Purchase at the gate at the time of entry. 

MERCHANDISE/SOUVENIRS: Bigfoot souvenirs, books, mugs, T-shirts, and various bigfoot items will be for sale in the Pleasant Hill Park Camp Store located in the Welcome Center. Other vendors are available to sell Bigfoot merchandise by Bigfoot & Me, wood carvings & jewelry, and Personal Caricature drawings by Artist Wayne Tillett.

FOOD: Food trucks from Tay’s Tacos & More, Sidekicks Coffee, Kettle Corn, Marcos Pizza &  Pleasant Hill Park Camp store located in the welcome center will have snacks, drinks, Squatch soda, snacks, ice cream, and candy.



									
Autumn Lights @ Cherry Valley Hotel
Oct 5 @ 7:00 pm – 10:00 pm
The Autumn Lights will be displayed October 4 – November 22 from dusk until 10 PM nightly in the Cherry Valley Hotel Main Courtyard. Guests can stroll around the path and marvel at red, yellow, and orange lights, highlighting the signature botanical gardens with spectacular ponds, waterfalls, and a gazebo. In addition, guests are encouraged to relax and spend time with loved ones at Craftsman Kitchen & Terrace, where they can view the lights while enjoying a chef-crafted meal.
During Autumn Lights, join us for a one-of-a-kind autumn igloo experience. Guests can reserve one of our four new and improved heated igloos, with comfortable seating and blankets to snuggle under, with a backdrop of botanical gardens with spectacular ponds, waterfalls, and the warm red and orange glow of our Autumn Lights display.

6th Annual Columbus Mac & Cheese Festival @ Easton Town Center
Oct 6 @ 4:00 pm – 7:30 pm
The Columbus Mac & Cheese Festival, a family-friendly event hosted by the NextGen James Ambassadors Society, will delight your tastebuds with mac and cheese samples from some of your favorite central Ohio restaurants. The festive atmosphere will also include live music entertainment, kid zone activities, raffle prizes and more.
The festival has raised more than $350,000 to date, which has funded vital research and programming for the Adolescent and Young Adult cancer program at The Ohio State University Comprehensive Cancer Center – Arthur G. James Cancer Hospital and Richard J. Solove Research Institute (OSUCCC – James). Previous event proceeds have allowed the OSUCCC – James to host a national Oncofertility conference, fund several young survivor social opportunities, purchase gaming consoles for the family room at The James, create multiple research studies, and more.
Friday Farmers Markets @ Canal Market District

Friday Farmers Markets run 4-7pm every Friday through October. Shop local produce, sweet treats, and artisan goods while enjoying live music. We will also have a food truck at every market.
Shoppers can also take advantage of Produce Perks. You can double your SNAP/EBT (Ohio Directions Card) benefits at our markets. Redeem $25 of your SNAP benefits, and you’ll get $50 to use for fresh produce! Come to the Market Director table in the center pavilion to use your card to purchase tokens.

2023 Fall Antique and Garden Show @ The Rural Society Antique & Garden Show

Join us for the 2023 Fall Antique and Garden Show. The sale is held the first Saturday in May and October each year and is a regional favorite featuring many dealers, decorators and collectors across the state and beyond. The sale features over 25 dealers and a farm market showcasing local produce and products.
The Rural Society Antique Sales are held at Warwick Farm at 16620 Wells Rd. Mt. Vernon, Ohio
