COVID-19 precautions: We will be following Franklin County Public Health Guidelines for safety measures in the 2020 Market. The complete document can be found on the website. We appreciate the public’s part to help us stay safe, this includes:
– Please do not come to the Market if you are sick! You must be free if fever (without fever reducing medication) for 48 hours prior to the start of the market. If you are experiencing respiratory symptoms such as persistent cough or shortness of breath, please allow at least 7 days without symptoms before coming to the Market
– We will have a supply of hand sanitizer at the welcome table, please sanitize your hands as you enter the market. Sanitzer will also be available at vendor tables throughout the Market
– Individuals who feel at risk or elderly individuals are asked to shop between 9am and 9:30am. Also, please check our website for vendors who accept pre-orders to shorten your time at the Market.
– Currently the market is not meant for social gathering. Please take your time to select your food and exit the market grounds. Also, consider minimizing the amount of family members coming to the market at one time.
– We ask that you maintain 6 feet of social distance between yourself and others while at the market.
– Please be aware of the one way foot traffic flow at the Market. There will be one exit and on entrance.
– In line with COVID-19 guidelines, please do not bring pets to the Market.
– In line with COVID-19 guidelines, masks are encouraged. Some individual vendors may mandate that customers wear masks while at their booth, please respect these requests.
– If you are not comfortable with the current COVID-19 guidelines but still want to shop the Market, we have a list of vendors who accept preorders on our website. Preordering is a way to quickly pop in and leave the market with less exposure to the public.

Please enjoy the market as much as possible during this time. If we all do our part to minimize risk we will be able to get back to our usual operation sooner! Thank you for your support!

The Pirates Treasure Hunt – Columbus

Pirates have invaded Columbus! Cap’n Graybeard needs your help to find his missing treasure map. Beware, mateys, you’ll encounter VIRTUAL Pirates, Scurvy Dogs and need to collect the Pieces of Eight to ultimately find the location of his treasure?

The first city-wide treasure hunt in Downtown Columbus allows for safe distancing for teams of up to 6. Prizes will be awarded for best costumes, team name and highest point totals. One ticket ($50 + $2.75 handling) is good for your team of up to 6 people! Tickets are on sale soon!

This event benefits the Mid-Ohio Foodbank

COVID-19 Information: This event includes the following precautions to help keep you safe:

Three-hour start window – you can begin your adventure anytime between 10:00 am and 1:00 pm
Choose your route – you can navigate to any challenge, in any order to avoid areas that may be congested
Outdoor challenge locations – all challenges are located outdoors in areas large enough to spread out
Face coverings – we encourage the use of face coverings, or masks while in public

Scavengee event refund policy:

A refund will be issued if there is a government mandate due EXCLUSIVELY to COVID-19
A refund will be issued if an individual request is made 14, or more days prior to the scheduled event.
Requests made 2-13 days in advance will result in a ticket exchange for a future event within a 12-month period. Please contact Scavengee (hello@scavengee.com) to facilitate the exchange
NO REFUNDS OR EXCHANGES for requests made within 48 hours of the event date.
In the event that a game is postponed due to an issue beyond the organizer’s control (ie. extreme, dangerous weather conditions, natural disasters, war, or other unforeseen events, etc.) then tickets may be exchanged for any future event within a 12-month period. Once the cancellation is confirmed we will contact you as soon as possible with further details.

4th Annual Mount Vernon to Marietta 160 mile Paddle @ Memorial Park

160 mile paddle from Mount Vernon Ohio to Marietta Ohio. We would like to dedicate the 2020 paddle in honor of Williams R. Gains Jr. William R. Gaines Jr., was killed in the Beirut Bombing on October 23, 1983 as one of the Marine peacekeepers just five days after turning 21. Bill wrote home with the following lines just a month prior to his death: “I believe in our mission here, I believe we belong here; this is a matter of principle, not politics or money or even lives. It’s the principle of freedom, of peace for the majority. If I die in the process, I feel that I would have died for a good reason.” If you would like to donate please follow the below link.

Paint Outside B.F.E.C. @ The Brown Family Environmental Center 9781 Laymon Rd

Paint, draw, or sketch at the BFEC! Bring your supplies, including a chair and/or easel, and spend the evening hours painting in a peaceful setting. This is a self-guided activity with like-minded artists. The Resource Center is closed, but public restrooms are located in Gambier along the Kokosing Gap Trail (the bike path), next to the train. Check the door of the Resource Center. The location for the evening will be posted there.

Summer in the City MTVarts’ Songs and Smiles: A Broadway Cabaret @ Riverview Park

Sunflower Weekend @ The Pickwick Place

Stroll through our 2 acre sunflower field and cut your own sunflowers for $3 per stem. We ask that you please reserve a time slot through the free tickets on our eventbrite page in order to help us monitor the number of people in the field. The Ohio Flower Girls will have create-your-own flower arrangements at their Flower Bar. There will also be free wagon rides, music and great photo opportunities. The Lunchbox will be serving food for purchase from 11-4 and we will have special peach milkshakes, mason jar lemonades, and an ice cream sundae bar!

First Friday Shop Hop @ Carrousel District
