Saturday “drive-in” theater: Smokey and the Bandit

Breaker 1 breaker 1, if you’ve ever actually seen a movie at a drive in theater these are your films. Join us for our inaugural movie in our new Saturday “drive-in” theater program. We will be featuring movies from the 60s, 70s, 80s, and 90s starting with the irreverent and irrepressible Smokey and the Bandit. This movie helped spark the CB craze as Burt Reynolds traded jabs with Jackie Gleason while chasing across the highways and back roads of the south. This film also stars the delightful Sally Fields with a rollicking soundtrack featuring Jerry Reed, who plays the role of Snowman. So be library bound and drop the hammer down, and we will see you there
