Mound View Cemetery Historical Walking Tour

Pioneers in Medicine will be featured at the Mound View Cemetery Historical Walking Tour on Sunday, September 12th. This event is free to the public. Local actors will be portraying local doctors from Mt. Vernon’s history who are buried in the cemetery.  Visitors will park at Round Hill Dairy across from the cemetery which is located at 307 Wooster Road.  At the Round Hill Dairy parking lot, visitors will board people movers every 15 minutes from 1pm to 3pm.  Members of the Antique Tractor Club will provide transportation to the first stop on the tour.  The rest of the guided tour includes walking, mostly slightly downhill, so visitors are encouraged to wear comfortable shoes.  The tour is not handicapped accessible.
