Fire and Ice at Honey Run Waterfall

December 9, 2022 @ 5:00 pm – 8:30 pm
Honey Run Waterfall
10900 Millersburg Rd Howard OH
Knox County Park District and the Millwood Church of Christ have teamed again to bring back Fire and Ice to the Honey Run Waterfall! Those wanting to experience the waterfall event must park at the Millwood Church of Christ located at 10900 Millersburg Road (US 62) in Howard. There will be no on-site parking at the waterfall. The Millwood Church of Christ has a very spacious, well-lighted parking lot. It is in the church lot where volunteers at designated sites, will accept Fire and Ice guests monetary donations and canned/boxed food items to benefit the Food For The Hungry campaign.
While in the church lot, guests then hop a shuttle for a short ride to the waterfall to experience 600 luminaria which magically guide guests along the Honey Run Waterfall trails to the waterfall and river. The event has been touted as a “spectacular event” at one of Knox County’s natural gems, the Honey Run waterfall. The waterfall cascades 25’ over the geologic significant blackhand sandstone. The waterfalls will be lighted just for the Fire and Ice event. Be sure to not miss this must-see natural area in a whole new “light” and during a different season of the year. At the same time, please keep our friends, neighbors and those in need close to our thoughts and bring an outpouring of monetary and food donations to benefit Food For The Hungry! We hope to see you on December 9!
