Indian Mound Mall, Heath’s family friendly shopping venue, is saluting America’s birthday with Backyard Fest, a neighborhood-style block party on Friday, July 2, beginning at 4:00p.m. The free, family-friendly event will coincide with Heath’s annual Independence Day celebration and will feature live entertainment, delicious food trucks, a car show, inflatables and the Princess Beauty Bus for kids, culminating at 10 p.m. with a front row seat to Heath’s highly anticipated fireworks display happening nearby.
We are thrilled to host Backyard Fest and welcome Heath families to this fun Independence Day celebration,” said Adam Jenkins, general manager at Indian Mound Mall. “With its close proximity to Geller Park, the center serves as a great alternative for Heath families seeking an all-American celebration with the flexibility to enjoy outdoor festivities or cool off indoors by shopping or dining with family and friends.”
The patriotic celebration will kick-off with a car show in the overflow parking lot near the retaining pond, registration for the car show is $10. Attendees will enjoy an evening of live musical entertainment featuring the classic rock band, Trigger Poynt. The party will culminate at 10 p.m. with the City of Heath’s dazzling fireworks display, which will launch from Geller Park, located directly behind Indian Mound Mall.
